Founded in 1982 as EIMU, re-christened SaloneUfficio, the International Workplace Biennial in 2008, it became known as Workplace3.0 in 2015 and changed to an annual exhibition in 2019, hosting more than 120 exhibiting companies showcasing solutions in line with the new work modes and the new design needs for “inhabiting” professional, public and contract spaces. Year upon year, Workplace3.0 presents its vision of the evolutionary workplace scenario to its visitors. The world of work has gone through rapid changes because the idea itself of work has changed: new demands and modalities call for different sorts of workspaces. Globalisation, migration, emergencies including health-related ones influence workplace design. We are now tackling a new challenge, merely talking about change is no longer enough, we are facing a new paradigm - Workplace3.0’s mission is to be the event dedicated to the design and technology of this increasingly flexible, porous and changeable space, able to respond to the new demands with the products on exhibit.
