“We’ve waited for it for three years and two months, and in June 2022 the Salone del Mobile.Milano has finally come back in great shape to celebrate its 60th edition” – says Carlotta Marelli, managing editor for elledecor.it in her article “Time to take stock: how did the Salone del Mobile 2022 go?”

She goes on: “To welcome it, a mixture of waiting, anticipation and enthusiasm, but also a deeply changed and full of questions to be answered world: the pandemic, which is still an open issue; an ongoing war in the heart of Europe with severe social, economic and political repercussions; the theme of sustainability that has become of the utmost urgency; and a digital universe, ever more immersive, that requires us to rethink about the means of communicating and relate to clients and projects. […] The ability to challenge some of the traditional exhibitions aspects surely contributed to the success of this edition: moreso the issue of sustainability, a theme that has piqued the interest of both the organization and the handling of the exhibition, and the research and offer of concrete and already implementable solutions – presented by ‘Design with Nature’, by SaloneSatellite and by many more exhibitors.
