Contributors Armand Vokshi Speaker Add to bookmarks Armand Vokshi is a university Associate Professor and has been the Chair of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanistics at the Polytechnic of Tirana since 2020. He graduated in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Florence in 2005. He continued his Architecture and Town Planning Research Doctorate at the Department of Architecture at the University of Florence is 2010-2013, on the subject Traces of Italian Architecture in Albania 1925-1943. From 2005-2009, Armand Vokshi worked as a “Subject Expert” at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Florence. He has been a member of the Faculty of Architecture, Polytechnic of Tirana since 2010. He taught at Polis University from 2010 to 2012, and at the Signora del Buon Consiglio in 2013 and at the University of Tetovo in Macedonia in 2014. Armand Vokshi set up the AVATELIER design studio after working as a designer and university professor and collaborating with leading architecture design studios in Europe. Armand Vokshi coordinates a work team that has taken part in many architecture competitions in Albania, Italy and abroad for many years, garnering recognitions and awards; he is developing his work on architectural and urban design. In 2010 one of his projects on Kinostudio, put together with his students, was selected for the Venice Architecture Biennale. EDEN Center was ranked the top Albanian project by the publication for young architects under 40, ARCHITECTURE -WORLDWIDE. The Next Generation> EDEN CENTER. The Between Olive Trees project was nominated for the Mies Van der Rohe, Iconic Design, BigSee awards, etc. He was elected President of the Albanian Association of Architects in 2016. Share
