Currently a research fellow at Politecnico di Torino, lecturer and teaching assistant in Politecnico di Milano, he also writes for various periodicals including Architect's Newspaper, Ark, Il Giornale dell'Architettura, Il Manifesto and Domus, of which he curates the Archive web section. Holding a PhD in History of Architecture and Urban Planning, he operates in the field of history and theory research, investigating the concept of habitat through contemporary architecture; he has operated as well in the fields of contemporary architecture and art curatorship, as resident architect at FRAC Centre-Val De Loire, Orléans (F).
