Annamaria Alois San Leucio

Weaving Art since 1885

ANNAMARIA ALOIS San Leucio is one of the last remaining workshops for the design and production of artistic fabrics. A factory of ideas where dreams come true.

From the ancient silk tradition of San Leucio, started in the second half of 18th century by Borbone kings, to a classical interpretation of the art of furnishing, today. The same precious damasks and lampas that decorated luxurious and royal residences, in modern transposition in the fabrics employed for the elegant interior furnishing, designed in exclusive style and handmade by clever artisans. An union between classic and modern style that has been successful and now is completed with refined embroidered linens and ceramics handpainted by Vietri’s and Capodimonte’s masters.

Our strengths are the quality of the materials, the chromatic richness and the refinement of the products often created "ad hoc" to satisfy design needs, both in a classic and modern key.
The small flowers of the ancient lampas have become large exotic flowers, hibiscus and water lilies, as in a dreamlike representation. We have reproduced life-size bamboo canes and leaves to recreate tropical atmospheres and landscapes. Here comes our attention to the world of nature and bio diversity: we use natural yarns such as the finest silk, raw linen and soft cotton.
For us, innovating also means giving a contemporary look to an archive design, replacing trendy colors with traditional ones, with unusual combinations that, more often than not, anticipate fashions. The same precious damasks and lampas that adorned sumptuous and regal homes, in a modern transposition into the fabrics used for the elegant furnishing accessories, designed in an exclusive style and handmade by skilled craftsmen.
