CTS Salotti, for over 55 years, is a creative company specialising in soft furnishings in which design and comfort are essential values that make every product equisite and unique.

CTS is a company located in Brianza, founded in the 1960s by Carlo Tanzi. We have been a presence at the Salone del Mobile for over 45 years and our collections of sofas, armchairs and accessories are characterised by a contemporary design, quality construction and fabrics at the highest levels. The spirit that makes each CTS Salotti creation unique is rich in values, important details and sartorial inspiration; the mastery lies in thinking and knowing how to create unique products. Each sofa and each armchair is made exclusively to order. The entire production cycle takes place within our headquarters in Carate Brianza (MB). This allows us not only to have direct control over all the processing phases but ensures we are able to guarantee the state-of-the-art creation of our upholstered products. Each of our creations can only and exclusively leave the company after a thorough inspection by our specialist personnel. We export over 80% of our production, mainly to non-European markets.

Many of our collections are born from passion and a great visual impact that leaves no room for dreams. Every detail of the fabric and wood is unique because beauty does not only correspond to luxury as an end in itself but lays its foundations on the strength of ideas and on the highest degree of craftsmanship. Armchairs

Choosing a made in Italy handcrafted armchair is equivalent to selecting a product of proven quality, destined to last over time and to keep its characteristics despite repeated use. CTS has numerous armchair collections in its product portfolio, consistent with its corporate strategy and which fully coordinate with the sofa collections in order to create a perfect living environment for its customers.

Accessories

Whether coffee tables, poufs or decorative cushions for sofas and armchairs, CTS creates a series of essential furnishing accessories to personalise living rooms and spaces. The strong point of our accessories is the close coordination with the collections of sofas and armchairs, the possibility of customisation and the same inspiring philosophy oriented towards indisputable quality and contemporary design.

Upholsteries

CTS renews its collection of fabrics and leathers every year by carefully choosing the new proposals, considering the new trends in interior design. The CTS fabrics come from the best Italian weaving mills with technical characteristics and quality tests at the highest levels. The collections contain a number of ecosustainable and natural fabrics and some use coloured regenerated fibres recovered from the remnants of the knitwear package of fashion companies. The fact that these materials are already coloured represents an important ecological advantage as the dyeing process has a significant impact in environmental terms. Ultimately, this choice prevents them from being disposed of as waste. The quality of these yarns is completely comparable to that of traditional fabrics. Even the natural leathers come from the best Italian tanneries meeting the highest quality requirements. Almost all the CTS products have removable covers and replacement covers are available for at least 15 years after purchase. Taking care of sofas and armchairs consists above all of the maintenance, cleaning and washing of their upholsteries. Only in this way, in fact, will it be possible to maintain the beauty of your sofa or armchair, guaranteeing durability over time and maximum comfort. CTS Salotti is only too aware of this aspect, which is why it has decided to provide its customers with some tips, available on its website, for optimal maintenance, thereby avoiding the risk of damaging the leathers and fabrics used.

CTS bespoke projects

For many years now, CTS has also been manufacturing products in the high-end “Contract” and “Custom” segment. In particular we supply hotels (4 and 5 stars), restaurants, lounge spaces, villas and yachts with excellent results, thanks to the ability to create, in collaboration with interior design studios, “custom-designed” products. CTS uses excellent quality workers and sub-suppliers who translate into reality creations that seem particularly complex at first sight. Our geographical location, at the centre of the Italian quality furniture district, enables us to draw on a large network of sub-suppliers.
