They have successfully applied the values they cherish to building a leading interior design brand: courage, creativity and a passion for life. With a team of internationally acclaimed designers, an ager workforce and wonderful artisans in both the Netherlands and Italy, Linteloo produces furniture that is not only utterly beautiful but also extremely comfortable. Because for us, good design is all about celebrating life. At Linteloo, we love working with designers from every corner of the globe. The innovative approach, powerful signature and meticulous eye for detail of people such as Paola Navone, Dan Yeffet, Sebastian Herkner, Jan des Bouvrie, Yabu Pushelberg and Roderick Vos, continue to amaze and impress us. The result is an ever-expanding collection of intricate designs that stand the test of time. The Linteloo collection radiates ‘luxury living’ and is designed to be used. We understand the art of perfect imperfection; traces of use and unevenness give the product character. They emphasize the sustainable and artisanal way in which the product is made. Sometimes you see something so simple—and so brilliant—that you wonder ‘why did nobody else think of this?’ In the modular ‘Broadway’ sofa, by Dutch designer Roderick Vos, the transitions from the front to the side and the side to the back are not square or rounded, but chamfered at a 45 degree angle. Thanks to its ‘plump’ but straightforward shape, ‘Broadway’ is the perfect combination of organic and cubist—a powerful silhouette, underlined by a thick cord. Sjoerd Vroonland generally works in wood and is a master of innovative construction. This time, he opted for a metal frame, with a table top consisting of two parts. Sjoerd loves to see and to show how one material grabs hold of another. So the metal embrace leaves the clamp, which gave ‘Clamp’ its name, in plain sight. The combination of marble and wood—mostly from off-cuts, for optimum sustainability—is selected by you. Be your own designer! Designed by Jan te Lintelo in 2019, on the occasion of LINTELOO’s 25th anniversary, ‘George’ was inspired by the lifestyle of those who have the great fortune of living on the beautiful shores of Lake Como. A popular retreat since Roman times, the atmosphere around the lake is as sophisticated as it is relaxed. Voilà, enter ‘George’, with its airy feel—achieved by those thin and elegant legs—, its inviting, generous cushions, and its afternoon nap-ready high back. ‘Malibu’—designed by Jan te Linteloo—lives up to its name. This beach city, close to down-town Los Angeles, has a host of architectural highlights, which are home to numerous film stars. They are attracted by the laid-back atmosphere of sun, sea, and beaches, which gave Malibu its nickname, ‘the original Surf City’. It is precisely this combination of cool, relaxed and luxurious, that we see in this sofa: a comfortable body atop an elegant frame with subtle legs, that make the sofa look like it’s floating on air.
