With a Quooker system in your kitchen you always have instant 100°C boiling water alongside regular hot and cold. Add a Quooker CUBE and you will also have filtered chilled and sparkling water – all from the same tap.

More than one million Quooker customers worldwide enjoy the convenience of boiling and filtered water directly from the tap. The history of Quooker has its roots in 1970. Dutchman Henri Peteri was working for Unilever at the time and was visiting the head office in London when he had an idea that would change his life forever, during a presentation about instant soup. They showed how you could dissolve soup in boiling water in just five seconds. 'And to do that, you have to heat water for five minutes?' Peteri thought. 'That's stupid! Why can't we get boiling water from the mixer tap in our homes?!' When he got home, Peteri went down into his basement to develop a prototype of the first boiling-water tap in the world. Today, Quooker is sold in more than 15 countries, has more than 40 patents and develops and produces in-house. 

The Quooker system consists of a tap on the kitchen worktop connected to a small tank located in the cabinet. You can choose between all-in-one taps or Twintaps with a separate mixer tap. The tank acts like a vacuum flask connected to the water mains. The Quooker tap dispenses boiling water: the water in the Quooker tank is heated to a temperature of 108 °C. When you use the tap, the water cools a little, but remains boiling when it comes out (at a temperature of 100 °C). As the water flows out of the tap, fresh water immediately flows into the tank. A special activated charcoal filter inside the tank further purifies the water.

In addition to the boiling water tank, Quooker has also developed a system for filtered, fresh and sparkling water: the Quooker CUBE. The CUBE contains a hollow fibre filter and an activated carbon filter, which purifies the water. The CO₂ cylinder connected to the CUBE allows you to dispense 60 litres of cold sparkling water.
