The three levers of the Rinaldi business model: people, planet, prosperity
Rinaldi Group was founded in 1965 with the aim of affirming its leadership in the market of the production of high quality mattresses, rigorously designed, designed and manufactured in the Italian plant of Giffoni Valle Piana, with the most innovative production technologies to meet the needs of increasingly demanding consumers and attentive to their psycho-physical well-being. Well aware of how important sleep is for human health, the Made in Italy collections for over 50 years have been trying to improve the quality of sleep of its customers, to whom it offers personalized products (which meet a primary need and are part, together with nutrition and sports activity, of the three pillars of well-being), tailor-made according to individual needs. Thanks to years of intense research, they are now able to produce unique and exclusive mattresses, the result of in-depth studies, in compliance with ethical values that have always inspired and distinguished their work. The green policy, in fact, pushes them to create more and more eco-sustainable products, with low environmental impact, in order to successfully appear on international markets, which have always been attentive to process innovation and environmental sustainability.
Active both nationally and internationally, where it is present in 33 countries, Rinaldi Group is a typical example of a local company that, thanks to a far-sighted managerial management, has experienced an important expansion becoming an ambassador in the world of Italian life style: its international vocation has therefore pushed it to penetrate strategic markets such as the United States, Canada and Northern Europe. Since 2011 Rinaldi Group has also committed itself to improving its strategies in terms of Industry 4.0 and Digital Innovation, developing a re-design project of its production process, orienting it towards smart manufacturing, or towards a production model in which digital technologies allow to increase the interaction between man and machine and to improve efficiency and productivity, thus allowing a greater speed of execution of all business processes. The company is now able to offer the market scientifically tested collections, oriented by the principles of Ergonomics and Sleep Comfort, the result of the ten-year research program developed in collaboration with the University of Salerno, merged into the filing of two patents concerning a mattress made with the innovative Comfort-Driven Design methodology. A very valuable partnership, aimed at researching new environmentally friendly materials and proposing to a very competitive market (only at national level there are 790 companies) increasingly oriental solutions to the circular economy and environmental sustainability.
