Goccia, as fluid as water
Stopping the motion of water rippled by a pebble and turn it into a functional and rigorous design represents the concept behind Goccia. An ultra-thin edge emerges from the countertop and draws the essential boundary between inside and outside.

The initial idea that suggested me the design of this basin came by observing a stretch of water while some children were playing throwing a stone the farthest on the pond. I was inspired by the concentric waves to design the thin edge marking the basin, a smoothed and barely perceptible limit, which perfectly merges with the surface of the countertop.
