Born in Modena in 1970. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at Milan Polytechnic with a thesis on Pierre Chareau a la Maison de Verre, after spending the last academic year at the Ecole d'Architecture de l'Academie des Beaux-Arts in Paris. At the same time, he attended restoration seminars at the Ecole du Musée du Louvre in Paris. He returned to Milan where he qualified as a professional architect in 1997, taking the State Examination at the Polytechnic. In 1998 he founded Officina di Architettura in Modena, creating a company that today boasts a team of experts and talented collaborators. Officina deals mainly with public and private architecture in Italy and abroad, the most representative expression of which has taken the form of top-level residential projects over the last decade. The transversal nature of the research into materials and the techniques of processing and valorisation, as well as the ever-increasing need to express a personal concept of integrated design, has given rise over time to a veritable collection of objects and furnishing accessories produced in collaboration with some of Italy's most interesting and qualified craftsmen and industries.
