Mine chair and Mibne Emp Chair by Studio Segers
Four round solid wooden legs connected by a cross lap joint.
The seat and back shell consist of identical plywood shells that are CNC cut to size.
The legs are slightly inclined towards the seat and back. This conical shape not only harmonises the furniture visually, but also makes it stable in use. The pure, rational structure turns this chair into an archetype, which acquires its uniqueness through its well-thought-out programme, balanced proportions and sophisticated curves.
