The Muses Melpomene

Melpomene is an elegant bronze sculpture by the Belgian sculptor Renaat Ramon. It is part of a series of bronze and ceramic sculptures inspired by Greek mythology called The Muses. Melpomene was originally considered the Muse of music, song and dance. Later on, she was named Muse of tragedy. The sculpture is available in a dark brown patina. The subtle femininity and the contrast between sharp and smooth lines make this sculpture an enrapturing and eye-catching art object.
