Result of a strong understanding, Ombra is a refined industrial project, which is characterized by rarefied, finely designed architecture: the lines that navigate the structure in black painted metal, light to the eye but solid in function, support the shell which houses the seat and backrest. Made from a slender sheet of printed rigid polypropylene, minimal in thickness, the body is proposed with a black leather upholstery or entirely covered in leather with very light padding. At the heart of Ombra is Lema’s tireless experimentation with forms and materials typical of industrial design. In this case, it has resulted in a chair that combines stylish sophistication with good value for money. “Ombra is an industrially smart chair, with a linear metal structure shaped in its simplicity, it is produced with a polypropylene seat element covered in leather. Depending on what you want to do, it tells you a story: it can carry armrests and look a bit anthropomorphic, or in its purity remain a chair."
