When Magis started to work on this collection with Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, the idea was to work with an ancient fabrication process and give it a new visual language. The result is a system of frames in wrought iron with a newly made geometric shape to hold up seat shells and tabletops or create various accessories, like mirror or candleholders.

Italian design and traditional craftsmanship are harmoniously combined in the Officina collection, which explores a new creative language through the ancient fabrication process that is iron forging. Throughout history, this technique has been used to create an infinite number of everyday objects and decorative artefacts.The products in this collection feature a typical wrought iron finish that makes them living design objects, and their distinctly industrial feel is guaranteed to create interesting contrasts in any setting.
