The portable induction hob is a concentrate of power and versatility. At only 5.4 cm thick, it is ideal for taking anywhere. A great solution for those who want to cook efficiently, safely and economically.
Equipped with touch controls, the Smeg portable induction hob is compatible with pots and pans between 12 and 24 cm in diameter. The LED display allows you to select 9 power levels and manage cooking via a timer of up to 99 minutes.
For easy and effective use, the control panel is equipped with preset functions. Keep Warm allows you to keep preparations at temperature; Barbecue features 3 cooking settings for perfect grilling of white and red meat, fish and vegetables; and Fry, with 3 additional settings dedicated to frying fresh, frozen or sweet food.
The Smeg portable induction hob comes complete with a temperature probe for cooking meat and fish, with a case for storing all accessories after use and a clip for attaching it to the pan during cooking. Two dedicated programmes make it easy to use: the Probe Target function allows you to set the desired temperature at the heart of the food, cooking it evenly so as to best preserve its nutrients. The Probe Timer function allows you to set the desired temperature and maintain it for a set period of time, ideal for slow cooking.
