Contributors Cristina Kiran Piotti Author Add to bookmarks Cristina Kiran Piotti is an Italian-Indian freelance journalist. She studied at the “Walter Tobagi” school of journalism in Milan, before finishing her training with a master's degree at the Ca' Foscari Challenge School in Venice on the economic relations between Italy and India. She splits her time between Milan and Mumbai, and since 2008, has primarily covered design, current affairs, and culture for Italian and international newspapers, often opting to draw on her enduring passion for geopolitics. Over the years, she has tried to use language to harness the elegant expressiveness of Michele De Lucchi for an English magazine, shared the tale of a little-known journey with India and its inhabitants undertaken by Mario Bellini amongst the buildings of Delhi, and has sought to recount the strong human social impact of Balkrishna Vithaldas Doshi's post-partition projects to Italian readers. Her true dream, however, held in her heart of hearts, is to one day interview Bollywood megastar, Amitabh Bachchan.
