Contributors Marianna Guernieri Author Add to bookmarks An interior designer who studied at the Politecnico di Milano and the Rhode Island School of Design, she first joined the editorial staff of Domus in 2011 and has since worked under six Editors-in-Chief on the magazine and three on the website. After working as a freelance designer in Ghent, Belgium, and for Louis Vuitton's e-commerce concern in Brussels, she returned to Italy in 2016 to work as web editor on the Domus website (domusweb.it), for which she now oversees content. She covers design, architecture and art with a particular focus on the underlying concepts of the creative act. She is passionate about issues related to sustainability and digital society, with a critical approach that goes beyond the dominant narratives. She likes to immerse herself in the most diverse contexts and discover the world through human interest stories, from those stemming from an electrician to a shaman. In the fragments of time when she is not working in publishing, she designs, sings, plays football and makes kombucha. When she is not working in the newsroom in Rozzano, she moves between Milan and the border between Mexico and Texas, her second home.
