This allowed her to further her knowledge of design and architecture and to build up a professional network. She has been part of the Salone del Mobile.Milano Press and Communication Office since 2002, and at its helm from 2006 to 2012 and from 2017 to November 2019. She has been a professional journalist since 2000. She was a freelance translator for Italian and American publishing houses during the ‘90s, and in 1986 she became a licensed guide and tour manager for the Lombard Region, as well as a swimming instructor. Her motto is ‘the shortest distance between two points is an arabesque.’ Share Articles by Patrizia Malfatti Bjarne Mastenbroek and Iwan Baan explore the foundations of architecture Bjarne Mastenbroek and Iwan Baan explore the foundations of architecture Carlo Stanga: the portrayer of cities Carlo Stanga: the portrayer of cities Close encounters with designer dishes.
