Banded HERITAGE Collection, Pretziada
The Banded carpet is a tribute to Sardinian designer Eugenio Tavolara who immersed himself in the study and promotion of Sardinian textiles in the 1920’s. It visually refers to the contrasting designs he made for the island’s weavers in the 1960’s.
Banded HERITAGE Collection, Pretziada
Banded is one of four designs that make up the Heritage Collection. This ongoing research project by Pretziada & Mariantonia Urru focuses on cataloguing and reproposing classic motifs from Sardinian weaving history.
