It visually refers to the contrasting designs he made for the island’s weavers in the 1960’s. Designed by Studio Pretziada "Adapting long-established designs to today’s production capabilities and color schemes, the collection reintroduces traditional, historical pieces and tells their stories." Banded HERITAGE Collection, Pretziada Banded is one of four designs that make up the Heritage Collection. This ongoing research project by Pretziada & Mariantonia Urru focuses on cataloguing and reproposing classic motifs from Sardinian weaving history.
