Foundations between design and charity

Nadja was the first female member of the Executive Board of Swarovski, which was founded in Austria by her great-great-grandfather Daniel Swarovski in 1895. She led the Branding, Sustainability and Licensing divisions and launched the luxury fashion jewelry and home décor brand Atelier Swarovski.

Cyrill Gutsch is an award-winning designer and brand/product developer.

In 1998 he created a method called Cross Intelligence, which brings a culture of collaboration to major organizations. In 2012 he decided to focus on a new client vital to us all: the oceans. He founded Parley for the Oceans as a collaboration network for creators, thinkers and leaders to raise awareness for the beauty and fragility of the oceans and to develop and implement strategies that can end their destruction.

About Cherine Magrabi Tayeb – Professionally

A natural entrepreneur and businesswoman, Cherine Magrabi Tayeb brings together her creativity, specialized knowledge in design, and her business sense to every project she undertakes. With an academic background in art and design, Cherine has become an avid collector, but is also a proactive contributor and key player on the arts & design scenes internationally and has served on judge panels as well as being on the council of many prestigious international museums and design institutions over the years.

Libby Sellers is a design historian, independent curator and writer based in London.

She was former senior curator of London’s Design Museum (2000-2007) and supported emerging design through her eponymous gallery (2007-2015). Now Libby focuses on writing and curation for personal initiatives, private galleries and public institutions, including her most recent for Frieze New York 2020 on the materiality of colour. She has authored numerous essays, catalogues and publications on design.
