Claudio Feltrin

Claudio Feltrin is President of Arper, a leading Italian company that creates chairs, tables, and furnishings for community, work and home.

Arper was founded in 1989 as an evolution of a leather artisan enterprise launched by the Feltrin family in the 1980s. The company, created by the father Luigi (President of Honour until his passing in 2020), together with his sons Mauro and Claudio, distinguished itself right from the start for its innovative products and state of the art processes, as well as for its international approach.

In 2005 Arper established the Environmental Department, focusing on attaining process and environmental certifications. Arper is progressively implementing an environmental culture within the company.

32 years on from Arper’s foundation, Claudio Feltrin is at the head of a constantly growing company, with 12 showroom based in major world capitals. Of these, five are the headquarters of the Group's subsidiaries: New York and Los Angeles (Arper USA), Dubai (Arper Middle East), London (Arper UK) and Tokyo (Arper Japan).

Since the beginning, Arper has been attending the Salone del Mobile, with a progressively strong presence.

 

INSTITUTIONAL POSITIONS

Last October 2020 31st Claudio Feltrin has been appointed as President of FederlegnoArredo, the Italian trade association that represents companies in the wood-furniture sector.

In 2014, he became part of the Board of Directors of Assarredo, of which, in 2017, he became President until September 2020.

Assarredo is one of the ten associations members of FederlegnoArredo, the trade industrial confederation that represents the wood, cork, furniture  and furnishing sectors.

From 2014 to 2020 Claudio Feltrin has also held the position of Vice President of Unindustria Treviso (the Industrialists’ Association of Treviso), with responsibility for Corporate Culture and Competitive Repositioning.
