Watch the press conference of the 2022 Salone del Mobile.Milano
The press presentation conference for the 60th edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milano is open to the entire design community: it will be streamed live on this page on 16th March, from 11 am onwards. Registration required. We would like to remind those of you who work right through the day or are unable to connect that there will be another streaming at 6pm CET.
Chaired by Luca Dondoni and opened by the Mayor of Milan, Beppe Sala, it will be the harbinger of many new things, discussed by Maria Porro, President of the Salone del Mobile.Milano and the protagonists of the June Salone.
From the confirmation of a live event, packed with brands giving free rein to their creative powers of expression, to the “wow” worlds, the theatre, the stands, both simple and complex, but all equally brilliant, and the biennials - EuroCucina with FTK – Technology for the Future and the International Bathroom Exhibition - which accompany the annual events: the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition, Workplace3.0, S.Project and SaloneSatellite.
From two great installations – one in the city and the other at the fairgrounds – dedicated respectively to celebrating the key values of the Salone and the issue of sustainability, ecological transition and the future of living with respect for the planet, which will be unveiled by Davide Rampello and by Mario Cucinella, to the creative partnership with Emiliano Ponzi, the world-famous illustrator and creator of six illustrations forming the captivating communication campaign for this edition of the Salone.
From the announcement of a stimulating programme of talks entirely organised by women, to one on the topic of SaloneSatellite, an invaluable springboard, discussed by Cristina Celestino and Sebastian Herkner.
From reflections on the sector from Claudio Feltrin, President of FederlegnoArredo, to the announcement of green guidelines, drawn up by the Salone to help exhibitors and stand designers and builders create their stands.
From the collaboration with the Milano per la Scala Foundation and Identità Golose, to the return of the Welcome Project that will see information points located at focal points throughout the city.
Basically, the press conference will unveil a Salone channelling imagination and participation, just as we remember it: an open, inclusive, dynamic, cultural, youthful and independent event that dictates the pace of design and anticipates trends.
We’ll be waiting for you on these screens.
Stay tuned!
