This was followed by publishing and research experience with Arnoldo Mondadori Editore Publishing in New York, as assistant to the Vice President and contributor to the Panorama publication. She then worked in Milan from late 1992 onwards, as an editor for the magazines Abitare and Case da Abitare. This allowed her to further her knowledge of design and architecture and to build up a professional network. She has been part of the Salone del Mobile.Milano Press and Communication Office since 2002, and at its helm from 2006 to 2012 and from 2017 to November 2019. She has been a professional journalist since 2000. She was a freelance translator for Italian and American publishing houses during the ‘90s, and in 1986 she became a licensed guide and tour manager for the Lombard Region, as well as a swimming instructor. Her motto is ‘the shortest distance between two points is an arabesque.’ Share Articles by Patrizia Malfatti Four books on sustainability and their myriad shades of green Four books on sustainability and their myriad shades of green Three books for rediscovering the value of objects Three books for rediscovering the value of objects 8 monographs, insights into the creativity of international designers 8 monographs, insights into the creativity of international designers Ritzwell, 30 years of Japanese philosophy in a minimalist key Ritzwell, 30 years of Japanese philosophy in a minimalist key 60 years with the Salone: the brands that have been on board from the start 60 years with the Salone: the brands that have been on board from the start Reissues of rattan furniture by Albini-Helg at the Salone 2022 Reissues of rattan furniture by Albini-Helg at the Salone 2022 Achille Castiglioni and bathrooms Achille Castiglioni and bathrooms Hicham Lahlou, worldwide African design leader Hicham Lahlou, worldwide African design leader Luigi Serafini and Alan Chan: two eclectic figures and their creative eccentricity Luigi Serafini and Alan Chan: two eclectic figures and their creative eccentricity Luca Nichetto, Lorenzo Palmeri, Martino Gamper and Pietro Russo’s feel for music Luca Nichetto, Lorenzo Palmeri, Martino Gamper and Pietro Russo’s feel for music Load More
