This was followed by publishing and research experience with Arnoldo Mondadori Editore Publishing in New York, as assistant to the Vice President and contributor to the Panorama publication. She then worked in Milan from late 1992 onwards, as an editor for the magazines Abitare and Case da Abitare. This allowed her to further her knowledge of design and architecture and to build up a professional network. She has been part of the Salone del Mobile.Milano Press and Communication Office since 2002, and at its helm from 2006 to 2012 and from 2017 to November 2019. She has been a professional journalist since 2000. She was a freelance translator for Italian and American publishing houses during the ‘90s, and in 1986 she became a licensed guide and tour manager for the Lombard Region, as well as a swimming instructor. Her motto is ‘the shortest distance between two points is an arabesque.’ Share Articles by Patrizia Malfatti From Arne Jacobsen to Elmgreen and Dragset: Danish Diaries by Marco Sammicheli From Arne Jacobsen to Elmgreen and Dragset: Danish Diaries by Marco Sammicheli Giulio Ridolfo, master of colour, on large companies and experimentation Giulio Ridolfo, master of colour, on large companies and experimentation Philippe Malouin: design outside the box Philippe Malouin: design outside the box The subtle charm of Piero Portaluppi’s work in 150 hitherto unseen shots The subtle charm of Piero Portaluppi’s work in 150 hitherto unseen shots CENTO3: a hitherto unseen project by Achille Castiglioni, now in 3D CENTO3: a hitherto unseen project by Achille Castiglioni, now in 3D 10+1 books for gifting this Christmas, selected by the Salone Book Club 10+1 books for gifting this Christmas, selected by the Salone Book Club Republishing FMR, Franco Maria Ricci’s last dream Republishing FMR, Franco Maria Ricci’s last dream Like a family album: 160 years of TON and bentwood furniture Like a family album: 160 years of TON and bentwood furniture Design Port: the new point of reference for interior design in Prague Design Port: the new point of reference for interior design in Prague Two Countries, One History: German design during the Cold War Two Countries, One History: German design during the Cold War Load More
