During his studies he began to focus on designing objects and furniture, honing his keen sense for materials, colors and textures. For a short while he then worked for Stella McCartney in London. Her talents cross-over cultures, languages, disciplines, concepts and styles with consistency of smart thinking always at the heart of her work. She is truly global in her insights and execution. Co-founded the non-profit organization róng design library and PINWU Studio with Christoph John and Jovana Zhang, led systematic study of the material system of traditional Chinese handicrafts, and promoted contemporary design applying traditional materials. 15 years ago , they met in Milan SaloneSatellite Exhibition. And then came to Hangzhou China in 2010 to make in-depth research of Chinese traditional handicrafts and to translate them through designs in their own ways.
